Shale Ridge Consulting was founded in 2026 by Liz Lantzsch, P.G. She serves as President and Principal Geologist.
Liz is a professional geologist and consultant with 15 years of experience across industrial minerals geology, mining operations, resource management, and environmental compliance. Her career has traversed progressively senior roles in both industry and consulting, giving her a deep understanding of how projects move from early evaluation through permitting, operations, and long‑term stewardship. Liz earned her Bachelors in Geology from Lafayette College and her Masters of Science in Geology from Ohio University. She has been a registered professional geologist in Pennsylvania since 2016.
